Eugene Schloss has announced that he has formed Schloss & Co, LLC for the purchase of Eugene Schloss & Co., Inc. from BenefitStreet, Inc. The transaction was concluded on August 15, 2008.
The original sole proprietorship was founded in 1972 and currently services 2,000 clients of varying sizes with locations throughout the United States. The plans range across a broad section of industries and include non-profit institutions and governmental entities as well.
Comprehensive benefit consulting is provided and includes government compliance and actuarial services for defined benefit and cash balance plans, as well as third party administration, plan design, daily record keeping and related services for defined contribution plans.
The acquisition of the assets from BenefitStreet re-establishes Schloss’s original position in the newly formed company and will refocus efforts on the core strengths of its consultants and administrators in utilizing its leading edge technology to meet the sophisticated needs of plan sponsors, participants and their beneficiaries.

I am pleased to announce the following promotions effective immediately:
• Joe Stallone is being promoted to Director of Information Systems & Technology.
Joe has served as Schloss & Co’s internal technology consultant/developer/advisor.
He has developed strategic relationships with vendors and business partners and been
involved in every aspect of our technological growth and development and by leveraing IT
initiatives, has allowed us to server our clients more effectively.
• Pat Lo Re is being promoted to Controller of Schloss & Co.
Pat has been involved with the bookkeeping, accounting and operations of our company.
Her extensive client knowledge and hard work has allowed Schloss & Co. to function
smoothly especially during this recent transition.
• Antonella Curcio our Office Manager will be taking on the additional responsibility of
supervising the Administrative Assistants. Antonella has been invaluable in managing and organizing all activities relative to staff support and has implemented policies and
procedures for the efficient communication of information to clients.
